How to launch a content farm from scratch: one piece of expertise, many channels

A content farm is a system for turning one piece of real expertise into many pieces of content and spreading it across all your channels. It is the opposite of a "content factory" that mass-produces generic texts.

How our content farm works

We create one unit of content and do not scatter ourselves: first an article for the website. The article becomes a YouTube video (voiced article). The video goes to our Telegram channel and a newsletter, then to other video platforms. The long video is cut into many short videos, and the key ideas become carousels and posts. Different bots in our ecosystem hand out useful gifts to subscribers and distribute the content too.

We have a very small team. We still need to be present in search, in video, in messengers and in email, so the farm lets one expert-hour feed all of them.

Reach and results

Our own figures: about 40,000-60,000 views a month from video platforms, around 20,000 visitors a month on our website, around 20,000 reach in Telegram, and another 15,000-20,000 from other channels, together roughly 100,000 monthly reach in our target audience. We hardly use paid advertising. This system produces about 95% of our enquiries and sales: services, audits, courses and partnerships.

100,000 is not a huge number. But it is targeted: these are people who come for our expertise. For a narrow professional audience, a few hundred views of a precise video can bring more orders than millions of random views.

Why content factories do not work

Content generated purely by neural networks feels generic. Readers sense it, and they do not trust authors and companies that publish it. The core of the farm is expertise: your real knowledge, numbers and experience, packed carefully into different formats. AI is an accelerator for packing and distributing, not a source of expertise.

It works in any business

The principle does not depend on the niche. Take 2-3 hours of a strong expert from your team, turn them into one high-quality piece of content on your product or service, and transform it into many smaller pieces for each channel. Then publish on schedule.

How to start

  1. Pick the one channel where your customers look for answers.
  2. Record the expert once (a conversation or a voice note).
  3. Create the long form first: an article or a video.
  4. Break it into short forms and publish across channels.
  5. Measure enquiries, not views.
