What depends on the platform, and what we confirm for you
Requirements for foreign sellers differ by platform, by country and by fulfilment scheme, and the platforms change them often. For example, Yandex Market states that foreign companies can sell on it as long as the goods are outside Russia at the moment of the order, and Ozon states that a registered legal entity is required to sign up but a Russian company is not needed to start.

Can foreign companies sell on Russian marketplaces?
Yes, within each platform's rules. Yandex Market has a section for international sellers and works with foreign companies; the goods must be located outside Russia when the order is placed. Ozon accepts sellers with a registered legal entity. Wildberries has programmes for sellers from some countries. Rules differ and change, so we confirm the current ones for your case.
Do I need a Russian company?
Not necessarily. Ozon states that you do not need to register a company or a brand in Russia to start, and Yandex Market works with foreign companies. The right structure depends on the platform, your country and the scheme you choose, and we check it with you.
Which fulfilment models exist?
On Yandex Market, international sellers can use three models: FBS (you store and pack, then hand orders to a Market sorting centre in your country), FBS Last Mile (you bring orders to a pickup point or sorting centre in Russia) and FBP (you ship goods to a partner warehouse in your country). Ozon and Wildberries also offer fulfilment by the platform and seller-fulfilled schemes; the options open to foreign sellers differ by country. We help you choose by cost and speed.
Do you handle registration, banking and customs?
No. We do not provide legal, tax or customs services. We work alongside your lawyer, accountant or customs broker, tell them exactly what the platform needs, and make sure the commercial side (cards, pricing, advertising) is ready when the paperwork is.
Which products work?
Consumer goods that can be sold remotely and shipped. Each platform has prohibited categories and some products need certification. We check your product during the entry audit before any money is spent.
How much does it cost?
The first consultation is free. After the audit we propose a fixed scope and price, usually a monthly fee for store management and advertising plus a one-off fee for launch work. You see the plan and the numbers before you decide.
How do payouts work?
Payouts are governed by your contract with the platform and depend on the platform and your country. We explain the options during the consultation; payment arrangements are between you and the platform.
