Ozon keeps expanding its AI tools for sellers. After AI text generation, the marketplace has added an infographic builder - a full photo editor built right into the product card.
What does that mean for sellers? You can now improve the visual side of a listing directly on Ozon, with no designers, no paid services and no blocked workflows.
What the Ozon infographic builder is
It is an embedded photo editor that lets you:
- Edit the image fully: crop, align, change the background
- Use AI features:
- extend the edges of an image
- generate a background (several options)
- remove the background
- improve image quality
So it is not just a photo enhancer, but a practical tool for building out a product card.
Under the hood: AI editing features
Edge extension
- With a simple background, Ozon offers one option.
- With a complex background, it offers several, so you can pick the best one.
This is useful when the original shot is cropped too tightly or the product lacks breathing room around it.
Background generation
The AI suggests a range of stylized backgrounds that you can test right in the card. Handy when you need to lift CTR but have no design resources.
Background removal
A classic time-saver. In our testing it works fairly cleanly.
Switching to the 3x4 image format without the headache
Ozon moved to a 3x4 standard a while ago, but not everyone has originals in the right aspect ratio. The builder instantly brings an image to the Ozon standard, with no workarounds and no "why did everything get cropped" moments.
Infographics inside the card
The photo editor supports:
- Headlines and descriptions
- Stickers and graphic elements
- Icons for benefits, specs and advantages
A seller can quickly produce the 3 to 6 images a listing needs right on the platform, without Canva, Figma or Photoshop.

How to open the infographic builder
- Go to Products, then edit.
- Move to the Media step.
- Click Open photo editor.
- Select the Infographics tab.
