From zero to $8,400 on Ozon in apparel
We took a printed t-shirt brand from seller registration to steady sales on Ozon. The store reached 494 units sold and $8,400 in revenue with a 21.7% add-to-cart conversion.
The task
The JAZZY apparel brand had no presence on Ozon and needed a launch plan that would turn a new seller account into stable, predictable sales.
What we did
- Registered the seller account on Ozon Seller and set up the store
- Compared FBO, FBS and rFBS models and recommended FBO (sales from Ozon warehouses) based on the client's scale, geography, pricing and warehouse proximity
- Activated the FBO model and opened the product cards
- Built product cards with deep SEO work and the ranking factors we have learned across dozens of Ozon projects
- Tracked ranking and conversion metrics to refine positions in catalog search
Results
| Result | Value | |
|---|---|---|
| Units sold | 494 | |
| Add-to-cart conversion | 21.7% | |
| Average catalog search position | 168 | |
| Total sales | $8,400 |
The store moved from a fresh seller account to steady sales, with product cards ranking and converting from the first weeks.
Takeaways
- Choosing the right fulfillment model (FBO vs FBS) up front shapes cost, delivery speed and ranking
- Product cards are a ranking lever, not just a listing: SEO and analytics drive positions in catalog search
- New sellers lose sales to avoidable setup mistakes, so professional launch support pays for itself against the cost of inventory
