The market is moving so fast that a new paradox has appeared: a competitor with AI tools and a smaller budget can outsell you. Small businesses are overtaking large ones simply by adopting artificial intelligence. The reverse is also true: strong entrepreneurs multiply sales team output 2-3x without expanding headcount. They use AI tools - specific, proven, point solutions built into the business.
Below is my personal top 5, with no fluff: only what we use in our own company and with clients.
1. ChatGPT: a universal assistant for copy and ideas
This is your marketer, your copywriter, your salesperson. It creates texts, sales scripts, product descriptions, emails, ads, and generates ideas for A/B tests, banners and more. The superpower is speed: one to three minutes, no burnout, no drama.
How it helps sales:
- In our companies it replaces a copywriter and covers about 80% of text tasks.
- It generates A/B variants for offer tests and suggests what to test next.
- It finds the customer's language for each audience and adapts every message to the right segment.
AI is trained on a huge information base and often understands your audience better than you do. In my own company I cut the marketer role and rebuilt the marketing strategy: we plugged ChatGPT into the process, and now it writes texts, articles, video scripts, landing pages and more.
For narrower tasks, use Custom GPTs or plugins, for example for SEO or data analytics. You can work with standard ChatGPT, or take a GPT adapted on top of it and tuned specifically for SEO, keywords and so on.
2. Midjourney and DALL-E: images that sell
Generating a product card used to take a known amount of time. Now it can be automated with AI. Midjourney and DALL-E generate selling images: banners, creatives, product packaging and even social media stories.
Why it matters: according to HubSpot, visual creatives influence CTR by up to 70%. A strong image can sell without words, through the message built into the visual. Generating many marketing creatives with AI is far easier and cheaper. As a co-owner of a marketing agency I can say this plainly: human designers often miss deadlines and deliver something other than what you asked for or expected. AI tools are more flexible and, importantly, much faster.
Where to apply them:
- YouTube video thumbnails
- Paid ad banners
- Marketplace product covers
- Advertising presentations
Which one to pick: Midjourney is better for wow creatives. DALL-E is used when precision matters, for example packaging with a logo or a specific color scheme.
3. ElevenLabs: a voice that sells
The tool voices texts with natural human intonation, and it can be trained on your own voice. It quickly creates videos and stories with voiceover, records automated funnels, courses, training clips and more.
It already fully replaces a voice actor and speeds up content production 5-10x. According to Lemonlight, even simple videos with voiceover raise engagement by 30-40% compared with text material. If your marketing was mostly text-based, it is time to change that, and ElevenLabs makes it much easier.
4. NarrowLab and Weidon AI: video from text
These services turn text into video. They create videos from texts and templates, and you can even upload Excel tables. In effect, they set up automatic video content generation.
How they help in business:
- Produce 10, 20 or 30 clips for marketplaces, social media or training.
- Increase reach and buyer engagement 3-5x without growing the team or costs much.
- Build content funnels on YouTube, Reels, TikTok and similar channels.
According to a forecast by Vizow, one of the largest companies in the field, by 2026 video will generate 82% of all internet traffic. Companies that do not produce video at scale will simply drop out of the race.
My advice: connect Excel files with your products. If you sell on marketplaces or run any business, upload a spreadsheet of your products or services and automate video production from it. This is especially effective for large catalogs. If you sell wholesale, services or training, the service will also strengthen your content marketing: you feed text materials in, and the AI generates videos out.
5. Klarna AI and Sibyl: AI assistants for sales teams
These are AI assistants for sales departments. They analyze calls, suggest how to improve scripts, automatically write follow-up emails to buyers and create personalized video messages for prospects.
Why the business needs this: to raise manager performance. Such assistants automate routine work and cut the cost of training and supervising staff. According to Gartner, a major US consulting firm, by 2026 40% of companies will replace part of their sales and customer support staff with AI-based solutions.
The key feature, which we are also testing now, is integrating AI with the CRM. That gives a powerful boost. People used to implement these solutions but often missed important details: the human brain simply cannot digest and make sense of hundreds of megabytes of call recordings. AI handles that task easily.
A plan to roll out AI in your business
If you run a business and want to increase sales, here is a simple plan you can implement in a couple of months.
- Audit marketing and sales. Identify routine tasks and what can be accelerated.
- Choose 1-2 tools. Do not connect everything at once: implement one or two, but do it well.
- Test in live conditions. Run A/B tests, for example AI versus a human seller: who sells more. The results often surprise.
- Put numbers on the result. Always look at the payback of the tool, not at the wow factor of "I closed sales, there are no salespeople, my AI is working". AI can impress, especially beginners, but in business we rely on numbers and cold calculation, not emotions.
- Scale. Once you find a working combination, automate it and increase volume.
What to do
Artificial intelligence is not magic. It is a new business logic where the winner is the one who thinks and acts faster. If you are an entrepreneur or a marketer, start implementing AI now so you do not fall out of the race.
